Jack was born on 27th of September 1999 in Derby, England. During his first year at secondary school, he was nicknamed 'Leonidas', when he started playing Darts he said that it would be his nickname, however changed to 'The Bulldog' before changing again to 'Bulldozer'.

He declared his interest in Darts in March 2013 when he watched some matches (most memorably Adrian Lewis vs Michael van Gerwen in the 2013 World Matchplay semi-finals) with his step-father, Craig (who is also an Darts player, who goes under the nickname 'Mad-Atter').

Pearson started showing incredible improvement and within 6 months of playing Darts, he hit his first 180!
